RDA Hunter’s ME Program will stage a STEM Festival on Friday 2nd September 2016.

The Hunter STEM Festival brings together a range of STEM competitions under the licence of Re-engineering Australia Foundation with a local ME CO2 Dragster competition and UON SAE Race Team Display.

The aim of the event is to engage Primary and Secondary School students from the Hunter Region in STEM to help build the workforce of the future.

Participating industry partners include Boeing Defence, Thales, RAAF Williamtown, Hummingbird Electronics and Lend Lease.

The event will incorporate:

1. Hunter F1inSchools Regional Finals
2. MECO2 Dragster Challenge
3. Hunter Region Land Rover 4 x 4 Challenge
4. Jaguar Primary Schools Challenge

The event will take place at The Forum, University of Newcastle, Callaghan.
