The ME Program Industry Visit Scheme is now in full swing.

Peter Wall from STEMQuip has been taking students groups around some of the most innovative and exciting industries in the Hunter. Last week students from St Philips visited ATSA in Thornton.

ATSA provides leading edge electronic support to the Defence, Oceanographic, Renewable Energy market sectors. They specialise in full support maintenance, engineering, and training in electro-mechanical and electronics equipment that operates in and around the water environment.

“The team certainly enjoyed being able to share our company with the students and we hope that they enjoyed getting a look at some of the possibilities out there for motivated and capable individuals.” Andrew Hazell General Manager, Defence and Water Resources

The ME Program’s industry visits will increase in the 2016-17 year with visits to Hunter industry partners including UAV Air, Bloomfield, AmpControl, Varley Group and BAE Systems.
