RDA Hunter’s ME Program and the Hunter Innovation and Science Hub are hosting Bots and Beers at Foghorn Brewhouse as part of National Science Week. The event will explore some cutting edge technology and demonstrate how 3D printers are revolutionising manufacturing. The event is being staged between 4.30 and 7pm on Friday 19th August at FogHorn Brewhouse, King Street Newcastle.

Me3D will be bringing some amazing technology along to give participants hands-on experience and an insight into the new and exciting ways that technology can impact productivity.

Me3D designs and manufactures a range of 3D printers specifically for education. Their solutions connect students to the 3D print process so that can achieve a deeper understanding of what they have designed on the screen, what comes out of the printer and everything in between. They choose to manufacture their products locally responsibly through Australian Disabilities Enterprises, supporting the meaningful employment of disabled workers.
