Successful projects for BBRF 5 grants were announced by Deputy Prime Minister on Friday 8 October 2021.

A total of 197 projects to the value of $293.9 million have been approved for funding under the Infrastructure Projects Stream.

A total of 101 projects to the value of $6.1 million have been approved for funding under the Community Investments Stream.

RDA Hunter provided guidance to BBRF 5 applicants and welcomes the positive economic and social outcomes in jobs, investment and local procurement that will flow for the benefit of the Hunter region.

RDA Hunter congratulates the successful Hunter applications for grants totalling $17,741,803 and a total value for projects of $42,332,417.

14.4% of the total value of Australian tourism and infrastructure projects funded by BBRF5 and partners will be built in the Hunter.
