CONSUL-General of the United States Hugo Llorens has flagged potential links with American universities as some of the ways Newcastle and the US could forge new bonds.
Flanked by Australian Federal Police, the Consul-General joined Lord Mayor Jeff McCloy at Newcastle City Hall on Tuesday for a briefing on the city and the Hunter’s economy.
Consul-General Llorens also met with Renew Newcastle’s Marni Jackson and representatives from Regional Development Australia, Newcastle Port Corporation, Visitor Economy Hunter and Williamtown Aero Space
