RDAF Round Five is an allocative funding round, with each local government that was funded under the General Purpose component of the Financial Assistance Grants 2012–2013 eligible to apply for funding for infrastructure projects.

Applications for RDAF Round Five must be submitted via the department’s Grants Management System (GMS) Portal between Monday 1 July 2013 and 5:00 pm (local time) Monday 22 July 2013. Prior to Monday 1 July 2013, applicants should use the Draft Sample Application Form to start preparing their application, and should arrange access to the GMS Portal for the person that will complete the application. To identify who in your organisation has access to the GMS Portal, please send an email to rdaf@regional.gov.au.

The RDAF Round Five Guidelines, Frequently Asked Questions, Funding Allocations to eligible local governments, and the draft sample application form are available via the links under the ‘Resources’ heading below. The User Guide to the GMS Portal will be available on the department’s website from Monday 1 July 2013.

The department will assess applications as they are received throughout the application period and will approve projects within each eligible local government’s Funding Allocation.
