RDA Hunter continues to work with the European Union and its members on innovation policy to grow Hunter industry and develop international trade opportunities.

At the invitation of the French Embassy in Australia, CEO Todd Williams recently addressed the French Researchers in Australia Network (FRAN) about RDA Hunter’s work to benchmark the region’s innovation performance against the regions of the European Union, as outlined in the 2014 Hunter Innovation Scorecard, and to maximise opportunities for trade.

“Continuing our relationship with the EU and sharing ideas about innovation policy is advantageous to growing and diversifying the Hunter’s economy for the future – which is a key focus for RDA Hunter,” Mr Williams said.

“Hunter industry is competitive and ready for new challenges. It’s imperative we consolidate international relationships that will foster trade opportunities and underpin economic growth”.
