TAFE NSW and RDA Hunter Delivering a Pathway to Cert II in Aeroskills

RDA Hunter and TAFE NSW are partnering to deliver a pathway to a Certificate II in Aeroskills in 2019

RDA Hunter and TAFE NSW are partnering to deliver Hunter high school students a pathway to a Certificate II in Aeroskills in 2019.

Students will have the chance to undertake an EVET Pathway in years 11 and 12 as part of their HSC studies.

Aeroskills teaches young people the skills to perform, repair and overhaul a range of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic aircraft components. The course will feed appropriately qualified and skilled young people directly into Williamtown’s growing aerospace industry and will bolster the pool of workers in readiness for Defence sustainment and maintenance projects including the Joint Strike Fighter.

Proposed delivery sites in 2019 include Singleton High School, Hunter River High School, Lake Macquarie High School, All Saints St Mary's and Callaghan College - Jesmond Campus.
