RDA Hunter, Training Services NSW and Hunter TAFE are working together to offer STEM-ships to young people interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

The pre-employment program, which will equip young people with the skills to work in the jobs of tomorrow, includes:

– 15 weeks  completing a combination  of training and work placement (25 hours per week)
– Students will complete 12 units of Competency with Hunter TAFE which will include the design, creation and  promotion of a product utilising advanced technologies
– An opportunity to work in some of the Hunter Region’s most  innovative organisations

Students require an exemption from school for the duration of the program.
