The latest edition to RDA Hunter’s ME Program is the new Board of Studies endorsed course due to run in schools across NSW called iSTEM. Standing for integrated Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics the iSTEM course is set to shape the future of education.

Students studying iSTEM learn about robotics, engineering, aerodynamics, motion, and 3D Design.

Ashley Cox, the manager of the program said “the exciting thing about this course is that its hands on, students aren’t learning from a textbook, they are learning from actually getting involved with the latest in technology and solving real world problems. To do that students quickly learn that Mathematics and Science are essential elements of their future careers.”

The course, which has been developed in partnership with Maitland Grossmann High School, has received input from many of the Hunter’s most innovative companies. These companies are focused not just on future technologies but where the workforce of the future will come from and how they will be trained to use these emerging technologies
