RDA Hunter CEO, Todd Williams this week met with senior advisers at the office of The Hon Warren Truss, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development in Canberra.
RDA Hunter was able to communicate key issues for the Hunter region which are critical for the region’s future.
Opportunities and challenges for the region which are included in RDA Hunter’s Regional Plan under the key priority areas of Infrastructure, Innovation and Investment were also discussed.
“The initiatives we are undertaking to guarantee the Hunter’s future are complementary to the national agenda and will help grow and diversify the region’s economy securing its industrial base and jobs.”
RDA Hunter will continue to meet with relevant State and Federal Ministers to highlight issues of importance to the region’s future.
