METS companies, miners and research organisations in New South Wales are invited to attend a free information session in Newcastle on accessing the METS Ignited collaborative Project Fund.
The two-hour sessions will focus on the details of the collaborative Project Fund as well as explore ways in which organisations can thrive in the new digital environment, gain access to intellectual and financial capital, and prepare the workforce for a future that needs new skills and capabilities. About the Project Fund

When: Wednesday, 5 July 2017
Where: Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources (NEIR) – 70 Vale Street, Shortland
Time: 3pm-5pm

The second round of the $15.6m METS Ignited Project Fund opened in late May and will close on 31 July 2017. It is an opportunity for business to secure matched funding to commercialise innovation that is of benefit to the Australian METS and mining sector.
As it is a collaborative fund, METS Ignited is encouraging the development of projects that include multiple METS companies that are working closely with an end-user, such as a mining company, system integrator or OEM. Projects supported by researchers as subject matter experts will add strength to the collaborative efforts.

The information sessions are an opportunity to explore the fund in more details with the METS Ignited team.
