GLOBAL competitiveness is not an option for the Hunter, it is an imperative and for the year ahead the Hunter is well placed to increasingly engage on the world stage.

We in the Hunter are well aware of the broad range of productive economic sectors and business opportunities there are in the region. Along with key Regional Stakeholders we are promoting the region through the Hunter Investment Prospectus.  This year’s Prospectus is ready to distribute to Asian Cup delegations, our trading partners across NSW, Australia and in over 105 international investment centres. This investment push is supported by a strategy that includes the Smart Happens Here campaign and a new focus on attracting international students to the region through Study Hunter.

RDA Hunter is also working with governments to ensure  the Hunter is recognised as an internationally connected region. Initiatives such as the Industry Innovation and Competitiveness Agenda, free trade agreements, premium investor visas and significant investor visas that are sponsored at state and national levels, the Hunter has the capacity to present to the world a package of investment opportunities, with competitive incentives.
